Snow Bears Loppet
The 2026 Cross Country New Brunswick (SFNB) Loppet Series consists of four (4) events which will take place in New Brunswick between February and March. Bathurst's event will take place on Sunday, February 8 (skate or classic, mass start).
Registration: All participants must register online. The period to register is from January 24th to February 6th at 8:00 pm.
Fees: A meal is included in the registration cost and a $ 3 fee will be added for Nordiq Canada. Costs are non-refundable.
- Student (less than 19 y-o) $ 25
- Adult $ 35
- Family (2 parents - 3 children) $ 85
Courses: Distances and courses are subject to change without notice depending on conditions. Participants will be able to view the routes that will be displayed.
- Blue: 3km and 6km (2 laps)
- Red: 8km (1 lap), 16 km (2 laps) and 24 km (3 laps)
Masters who want to accumulate points: Masters who want to accumulate Masters Points can do so by registering for the 24 km distance (skate style only). They must first purchase a Nordiq Canada race license and must be members of the Masters Association.
Bibs and electronic chips distribution: The bibs and chips distribution are inside the local starting at 9:30 am. The participants who do not return their bibs will have to pay $ 60 to replace it, as well as $ 60 for electronic chips that are not returned.
Start time: 11:00 am. Loop 1 km for kids will be after mass start.
Lunch: Lunch will be served starting at 12:00 pm at the Paul Ouellette Room in the K.-C. Irving Regional Center (Bernie White Entrance).

A Loppet is a large gathering of skiers who compete in classic style or freestyle (skate) skiing over different distances. The Loppet means different things to participants. For some it's an event to push yourself, but for most it's a fun way to spend the day outdoors, enjoying nature and stopping points along the way.
